Indianapolis 500 Qualifying weekend

Day 1 is on NBC today 2-4 central. The fast nine will be determined today. Starting positions 10-33 will be determined as well.
Honda has been fast all week, Chevy (including team Penske) still searching for speed. Passing will be challenging in race trim placing a premium on qualifying. I like Dixon or Rossi to take the pole. ECR shows we’ll in qualifying typically and Daly has had the fastest Chevy all week.

Honda is bitch slapping Chevy in practice sessions. Alonso is so stubborn with Honda, that he may miss out qualifying for the Indy 500 again.

Little Marco fastest today. Dixon had a potentially faster run going but shut it down to save it for tomorrow.
Marco always shows potential and then shits the bed, so I’ll be surprised if he takes the pole. That said, I’d love to see him win the pole, race, or anything. It would make grandpa happy and be good publicity for the series.

I’m such a Penske fan it irks me Dixon is being this good. But you have to give it to him and Ganassi. As long as it’s anyone but an Andretti driver.

He didnt have that top end speed going into turn 1, but his times didnt drop that much

Andretti not quite where the were yesterday it looks like. We'll see what RHR and Marco have. I suspect we will see a little more from them.
