MOV has been the best predictor of post season success, even better than record against top teams. Guess which team had the highest MOV prior to last night? They're still second right now. I don't think they'll make it out of the East, but I would absolutely love to bet some of you fools who think the Knicks would beat them.

I wouldn't give them the full load of "choking" but when you join together with the sole goal of winning championships and this is the best supporting cast any of the big 3 have had - including better than the one that Wade was given a NBA Finals with - then yeah choking is an applicable term.
Is this their best supporting cast? I mean, honestly? Wade and LeBron are both awesome, but they lack a top tier post player and a point guard. I like Bosh, but I think we can admit he's not on the other two's level. And the injuries to Haslem and Miller have crippled their supporting cast. I don't think the supporting cast sucks, but going down the rosters, the Celtics have a better starting ineup and a deeper bench.

So why the hell was Matt Bonner hitting 3s like they were going out of style last night?
You couldn't have possibly posted anything less relevant to what you quoted. Nice.

THEY'RE DOOMED!!!
Just like that team that was 4-16 against top 4 seeds a few seasons ago.
And what does that have to do with THIS team THIS season?

Clearly because Bonner was juking Lebron out of his Nikes and Lebron just couldnt stay with him on the perimeter.
Clearly.
But yea, all the Lebron haters just completely ignore how Dwade has been absolutely horrible on D this past month, not giving much of an effort at all. Who cares about that though.

It certainly says a lot about the relevance and weight that people are placing on regular season importance.
It certainly does that.

Peej, tell me what you think of Wade's defensive effort this past month.
Not good at all. THIS IS NOT the Spurs ,who usually can the REG season to get geared for the playoffs. The Chemistry is not there. And WON'T be unless Riley gets involved.

Wade is a terrible on the ball defender and really always been. I know you wont want to admit this but James is poor on the ball too. 3's drive around him with ease and he isnt very strong inside when he gets matched up with 4's. His only strength defensively is off the ball. He seldom stays with him man throughout a possesion and many times when the ball is kicked to his man he is wide open.
He also loves to cherry pick and often times his man will hit the board and the the OR. Forwards really should never cherry pick.
James is talented, I dont deny that, but his decision making is fricking terrible.
Youre right about Wade, did you watch him try to guard Ginobli last night?

I honestly don't even know what to say to this.
A good time to check out of this thread on something like that.
I'm just dumbfounded.
And don't give me this "you won't admit it" like I believe you but dont want to say it. Get out of here with that shite.
Funny how the large majority of people who think Lebron isn't a good on balld efender or the people who hate on him. Weird.

I know you hate Lebron, but I don't see how you can watch games and believe this. He's not Artest or Bruce Bowen out there, but he's definitely a far above average man defender. Did you see him dominate Durant the last time they played the Thunder? How about when Spo put him on Collison in a close game against the Pacers? He can get lazy on D at times, but in crucial situations he's really good.

Just admit it!!!!!
You know we're wrong but we just "won't admit it"

it's absolutely mindboggling that Lebron is getting called out for his D considering what has been going on with Wade recently.
I can't even begin to understand this right now.

I'm not comparing the two. All I'm sayin is lebron is a top 3 or 4 on ball defender when he wants to be. He just doesn't want to be every night all the time. Last few minutes of OKC game him shutting down kd is a good example of when he wants to be, he's a beast

I agree with this. I expect him to pick it up a notch in the playoffs though.

Not really. Watch the games. Tell me who he has shut down defensivly. Im not saying he is the worst but All-defensive team is a joke. Who was he stopping last night? Who does he shut down from the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers etc.

Charlie Sheen does not approve of Lebron James.
