Did Peej just save the Heat's season?

I think he did.

LeBron has been a lot better than Wade.

REALLY??? You haven't watched this team at all. Wade can hit those last second shots. He has proven it.

For that to occur the 76ers would have to overtake the Knicks or Miami would have to overtake the Bulls

Miami has been ahead of the Bulls all season, and they're basically tied right now. Miami has one additional win and one additional loss. And they play each other in Miami tomorrow. It's definitely not a stretch to think that the Heat will finish with the 2

Exactly. Also, NBA teams have a terrible record when playing game 2 of a back-to-back like the Heat were. People are reading way too far into that blowout loss, which was fairly predictable (the loss, not the blowout).

Also, didn't most people pick the Celtics in the preseason? Wouldn't you pick the Celtics now? so if the Het lose to the Celtics, how would that be choking? the Celts look like a better team.

I wouldn't give them the full load of "choking" but when you join together with the sole goal of winning championships and this is the best supporting cast any of the big 3 have had - including better than the one that Wade was given a NBA Finals with - then yeah choking is an applicable term. Having ESPN jump on their bandwagon with all of that Heat Index shite hasn't helped their case either. Having Matt Bonner's ginger arse light you for 6 3s with pretty much all of them being wide open looks doesn't help your case either.

Because they're a better team than the Knicks.

The Knicks have lost to the Cavs twice in the past few weeks. Their resume is tiny and weak compared to the Heat. I don't know why anyone would assume they're better.

Peej, tell me what you think of Wade's defensive effort this past month.

Can we please stop pretending chris bosh is on the same level as the other two and quit making an effort to get him involved? His offense needs to come from the residual effects of what wade and lebron do. frick!

Just like Rose is 2-0 against Lebron this season, right?

Lebron is leading the Heat in just about everything other than rebounds, and he's leading the NBA in PER. He's also been the Heat's best perimeter defender. You clearly haven't been watching the games Peej. Either that or you just can't understand what you're seeing at all.

UD being out really hurts since they're already thin.

Miller's injury was the biggest though. The best player outside of the big 3 and he has been just a shell of his former self due to the injury.

But if they don't make a serious run in the playoffs, they don't really have any excuses. Other than losing to Boston in the East, there's no excuse to not be able to beat any other team in the East in a 7 game series.

1. Your first sentence will be irrelevant come playoff time.

2. I wasn't aware that resumes in the regular season won nba TITLES

3. The Heat are 1-9 against the Top 5 teams in the NBA. Their resume is shite.

4. No one said the Knicks are better than the Heat. Were the Knicks the better team when they beat the Heat? Nope. But they played better than them. The Warriors weren't better than the Mavs a few seasons ago and that didn't stop them. Once the playoffs start what you did in the regular season is meaningless. It doesn't matter if you have a better roster if you don't win the damn games.

THEY'RE DOOMED!!!

Just like that team that was 4-16 against top 4 seeds a few seasons ago.

So why the hell was Matt Bonner hitting 3s like they were going out of style last night?
