Handicappers tweeting.

I like to read as much as possible. They just mentioned that day that he was a little late going back to his right lead. I think I copied and pasted into the Belmont thread.

What you've got to realize is that most people (me included) don't know shite about horse racing. The only races anybody cares about are the big 3, and this is a huge story because noone has won a triple crown in 30+ years.
That doesn't make us dumb, it makes us less informed on the subject.
And whoever said that this means IHA is going to be forgotten in a few years bc of this is correct, hell him running and hurting himself would be a bigger story people would remember. I'm not saying he should run and get hurt, I'm just being honest.
Most people don't care that he's won three "graded" races, frick most of us don't even know what that means

I understand,

But statements like:" the trainer is banned for July for doping with a milkshake" are untrue.

He was actually found to have not done anything intentional (like milk shaking) so the statement is false.

That's what's pissing me off. Sorry if it bothers you. I understand my talk of graded stakes is confusing.

I'm just so frustrated with pretty much everything coming out of the state of new York (hello new York times) that is preying on the fact the people don't understand or follow horse racing.

You have no idea how many people I have talked to who think a milkshake is a steroid. It's baking soda, electrolytes, and sugar.

I don't talk about football/baseball/basketball scandals because I feel like I'm not informed enough to do so. It just bothers me when people do that.

This whole thing sucks....Actually, I'm glad they found the injury before he ran. Maybe next year.

Hell... I pointed out tuesday that he hadn't been galloping as sharp and was late on switching.

Regardless... I'm very happy they caught it. Glad for not another barbaro (hopefully, and that does NOT mean I thought he was hurt before, just happened on ntl tv). I remember crying as a kid when go for wand broke down.

Those bastards should make that fricking horse run.

Well, they say the first thing to go when you're using massive amounts of steroids are ligaments and tendons.

I've got to be honest.....I was much more upset with Big Brown than IHA. Big Brown was my homeboy.
