He's got potential brah

I have a buddy who is a stat freak that told me today that the only other player in Division I to average at least 4 blocks and 2 steals a game is David Robinson. Noel is currently doing that and could finish the season with it barring injury.

cody zeller as #1 haha i have seen it all zeller is no better than tyler hansborough was maybe zeller doesnt travel as much but he also is not as physical if a franchise wastes the #1 pick on zeller they deserve whatever bad happens to them as they will regret it for a long long time its not every day you get a #1 pick so i would not waste it on a player who could turn out worse than tyler hansboroguh and tyler hansborough has pretty much sucked in the nba because he doesnt get away with what he got away with in college

This happened.

Incredible defender but has a long way to go offensively in order to become what the hype has made him out to be

It's worth reading just to laugh at the punctuation. Or lack thereof.

Do you tank the rest of the season

No way. The C's are 1 game below .500 and the east is weak this year. I don't see them as contenders, but tanking a season is weakest shite you can do. Jesus. They're still an 8 seed if the season ends today, and they're 2-0 without Rondo.

NO. This guy is NOT that good.

Go through that mock draft and pick the ones you think are. The nba needs to make a rule that you either come straight out of high school or you have to wait 3 years.

He's raw offensively for sure, but an NBA coach should help with that. Davis was a great help defender with his shot blocking. Nerlens is a better blocker on the ball. Oh and to PJ. Congrats. I'll take NBA scouts opinions a little more serious than yours.

This is the worst year since 2000 to tank. Next year, it might be worth tanking.

Nerlens Noel is a little more coordinated Hasheem Thabeet.

Noel is good, but not good enough to tank for. The Celtics aren't that desperate. They need to work on reconstructing the team with players already in the league

plus the celtics suck now they had their run they are old even if they tank and get noel they still are old they need to completely sell off all their older pieces now and rebuild from scratch i say raise the white flag

You should probably stop talking.

Rondo, Green, Sullinger, and Bradley are all important parts of this team and are very young. The big stars are getting old, but the Celtics are already starting to acquire depth and youth.

They will have to rebuild in about 2 years when KG and Pierce retire, but it will hardly be from scratch.

Nerlens is so raw BUT HE'S 18 YEARS OLD. You can't teach that length and athleticism. His defense and rebounding have improved an incredible amount this year and in a few years (you know, when he's at the ripe old age of 22-23) his offense will come along too.

I don't think it will. He is another Tyrus Thomas to me.
