They're different from Nebraska. Michigan for decades has been consistently good but not great and stubs their toes against their rivals(OSU, MSU, former ND). Harbaugh's Michigan isn't really different from Carr's Michigan minus one season and John Cooper having the same problem Harbaugh has not beating the rival.
Nebraska is a former powerhouse that will NEVER get back to that level. They're a middle of the conference program.

I mean that is basically what I said/meant. This is Michigan, they'll never be an elite program consistently.

When they're good, it's a 9-3/10-2 program.

He needs an NFL caliber QB for that system. Like he had with Luck at Stanford. A system like Ohio State you don't need an NFL caliber QB and can basically plug in any blue chipper and it will be successful. As we've seen the past decade or so.

Like Kaep?

Should give Kaepernick a portion of his Michigan buyout.

I’m sure at least a couple franchises would take you.

Likely so, since the NFL will retread coaches in a second. I only give him 2-3 years before his locker room hates him like they did in SF.
