Peyton Manning could not play in a veer offense.

Grambling/ Southern routinely fielded more NFL players than any p5( blue blood) despite having zero " exposure " or your special " visibility " & " development ".
I'm going to an Ivy League school, putting up some sick tape against a bunch of nerds and trying to graduate in 3 years, then grad transferring somewhere with NFL visibility that has a good NIL deal

The fact that this is getting shredded with downvotes is exactly what is wrong with today’s society. It’s not a wonder why there’s a bunch of illiterates roaming the streets because their eligibility is up OR they flunked out. So typical.
Down vote away, idiots.

And who runs that and gets 5* recruits?

Whichever one of those means more money now and in the future.

Chance to play in big games in badass stadiums
Staff that is known for player development
NIL opportunities
Academics for an athlete are the same at pretty much every school. You’re majoring in something easy with an entire staff devoted to making sure you pass and also graduate. So as a 5 star recruit with legit NFL shot I’m doing whatever major and program can have me graduate in 3 years so I can at least have my degree as well

I’d lean toward a mix of staff / scheme and NFL pipeline.
NIL money is nice but the potential of first round NFL money can pay off better if you are in a money position (QB, WR, DB, LT, rush LB / DE).
If you are in a position which likely won’t make huge NFL money, like kicker, punter, guard, etc, you start looking at fringe benefits of being at a certain school.

Grambling and Southern currently have a combined three players in the NFL.
Historically, they have had far more but that was also when big southern schools couldn’t or wouldn’t recruit black players, so they would end up at HBCUs or northern schools like Syracuse and Michigan State.
You still get kids out of FCS schools getting drafted in the first occasionally but they tend to be QBs like Joe Flacco (Delaware) et all. Main exception I remember is Dominique Rogers Cromartie as a DB out of a HBCU like Tennessee State.

you're probably not a five star football recruit if you don't think you're going to the league TBF
Should still think about life after football. Best case that's only about 20 years away. Less than that for some positions.

Sadly, who can give you the most money.

Bo Nix (or insert name of any 5 star WR or QB) at Iowa would be spending the Spring trying to score an interview with John Deere.
