He said on his show that he is a Patriots and USC fan because they are good teams, not because he has any loyalty to them.
Then he said they might go a combined 28-0 this year.

He continously says things just to annoy people, I'm positive, but shite I guess it works

At least he's honest

But no, neither will go undefeated.

The Patriots are going to be absolutely stacked this year.

Okay. I guess you can't be a fan of USC and the Pats?

Except for all the Pats fans on the East Coast and all the SC fans on the West Coast...except for that huge chunk of people.

Jesus H Christ, if you're going to go off on the man, at least tell everyone his correct argument.

I've heard Cowherd with this before, and he prefaces with he likes good teams because good teams are easier to talk about, and it helps that NE and USC are both in very concentrated areas that heavily support the teams.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see them become the AFC Dynasty of the next five years.

It'll be them, the Saints, and GB in the Superbowl for the forseeable future.

Did you read any of my post besides the USC part? I swear you see USC and you immediately go into defending them everytime. It wasn't the teams, it was the fact that he chose two great teams on opposite sides of the country, and admitted to only being a fan because they are good, not because he has any sort of connection or loyalty to them

He has continuously said he hates Cinderellas and loves the traditional big boy powers in CFB.

This. I usually hate Cowherd, but he does say this a lot and sticks to it.

Exactly. Say what you want, but nobody wants to see Duke or Mizzou in the BSCNC.

for as long as Rodgers, Brees, and Brady are healthy, it's going to be fun to watch these teams.

That's his job. As long as people care (or pretend not to) he'll still be empowered and employed.

no matter how many games USC loses, at the end of the year Kirk Herbstreit will mention that the 2 teams in the national title game do not want to play them right now because they are probably playing better than anyone right now.
