It already is the second favorite sport behind the NFL with the huge 16-24 year old male market. Add women and it is easily number two. The game is decided on the field. No bullshite two minute warning, no three timeouts per half and no every 4 minute TV timeouts. We live in an age where we want to see something happen, not watching guys in a huddle
It really is the best TV sport, and it isn't even close. NBC is paying billions to televise the English top league at 6:30 in the morning. Pretty sure their marketing executives see more than you do.
