4-3 isn't a very good record.

How many teams in the nation have more than 5 BCS wins?

Good thing they're 5-3, then

5-3. And it may not be great, but it's very solid. And certainly disproves the point that the OP tried to make.

I would take 5-3 over like say....3-1

You have to get there to win the games

Ohio State has more BCS wins than every team in the nation but USC, and has the same number of national titles. At least tOSU has gotten to national title games instead of choking on the way there.

They are also tied with several teams for the second most BCS losses behind Florida State's 5.

And my bad about posting the old record of 4-3. I should have figured that info wasn't immediately updated after the game.

Texas would love to have that BCS record; but they couldn't get by OU for years

Do you really think I'm a Texas fan?

And Texas is perfect in BCS games, FWIW. They even beat your team once.

I always forget about the John Cooper win over A&M.

They were a minute away from beating Texas last year too. Nobody expected that one to be close.

The best BCS teams are the ones with the best records.

Does it really matter how many times you get there, when there is never any competition in your conference. OSU can sleepwalk for 10 games a season.
