Basketball would be the best IMO. You get paid a ton of money, will constantly be on tv, the elite players always make tons in marketing, less contact sport than football, and you can have a long career.

Left handed reliever. Play 50 innings a year, collect $2 million check for 20 seasons. It is the easiest job on earth.

So you aspire to work at a country club or be on the Nike Tour, at best?

A long snapper or a kicker in the NFL... long careers and you just got one thing to do on the field.

ETA: NASCAR driver trumps the previously listed.

Bowling. What other sport can you legitimately drink and contend in at the same time?

Auto racing has way too high of a risk of death. Especially F1. No way would I want to do that for a living (once? Hells to the yeah).

I'm just saying that if you are going to go the auto racing route, F1 is superior to NASCAR in every way (money, women, international fame, etc).

I'd go one of the Heineken Cup level clubs, like Munster or Harlequins or Stade Francais (just to name a few). Money's a bit better. Sure, Super 15 you're living in Australia, NZ, or RSA, but you're pretty much ONLY playing there. With the British, Irish, or European Clubs, there is more exposure.

ETA: Plus, I'd probably play fly half, wing, or full back. But that's just me...

This

But any position on the field would be legit, you'd get to spend your life in Europe. There is probably no better life than that of a soccer player in Europe.
