But you say Kobe is better, but he's choked just the same. I don't follow your logic.

I don't think the Lakers are in the top 3 of having the most talented team this year. I think as far as talent goes Boston, Orlando, and even Dallas have more overall talent.

Yea, no question about that really.

You know the crazy thing about this thread is that it's the people who don't give a shite about either Lebron or Kobe arguing against the Kobe knights.
I just don't know how you guys can not step out of Kobe's a-hole for a few moments and take a common sense approach. Kobe has never won a title without an elite big man on his team, Lebron has never HAD an elite big man or even an elite number two option on his team. Kobe has played for one of the most successful coaches in NBA history, Lebron has played for Mike fricking Brown. Kobe has so many advantages over Lebron it's not even funny. I will never understand why you pussies feel like you have to bash Lebron, Jordan, and anyone else that Kobe has been compared to.

Yea, that pretty much is game set match, IMO.

NO EXCUSES!!!!

Not really, the Lakers have 2 all stars, Bynum could be a 3rd but he is pretty much a non-factor right now with his knee. Boston has 3 for sure hall of famers, an all-star point guard, and a pretty solid bench with Big Baby, Finley, Allen, and Nate. Orlando has an all-star caliber pg, a border-line hall of famer in VC, Border-line all-star in Lewis, best Center in the game right now in Howard, and a good solid bench. Mavs had all-stars in Kidd,Dirk, and Butler plus Terry and Marion.

Glad you asked.
NBA Finals.
Game 4:
6 of 19
Game 5:
8 of 21
Game 6, elimination game, backs against the wall, this is where you guys say Kobe steps his game up and would NEVER roll over:
7 of 22 shooting, down 23 points at the half
I'm sure there's perfectly logical excuses for why Kobe didn't choke there.

I agree that Boston is the better team, but did you just reference Michael Finley and Nate Robinson? I bet they've played a combined total of 20 minutes in the playoffs.

Artest has been an all star. You seem to be counting former all stars for every team except the Lakers.

You haven't actually watched any Boston games, have you?

i love how you reference kobe/gasol as 2 all stars but the celtics players are sure fire hall of famers. talk about jazzing up your speech to help your argument. neither of the 3 are as good as they used to be but rondo is a monster. celtics are about the only team who can match LA in talent.
nelson is good but VC isn't anywhere near what he used to be and is nothing more than a good player.
kidd/dirk/butler is a good core but doesn't come anywhere close to kobe/gasol/odom

First off I've never bashed Jordan nor would I ever. Mike is the GOAT plain and simple. Him and Kobe both have that killer instinct and that drive to kill off their opponents. Maybe Lebron will never have that cause his god-given body and athleticism have always made him "the chosen one". He was first pick, started day 1, and was sucked off since high school by the media. He has never had to have that me against the world mentality. Jordan was cut from his high school team and that made him wanna prove everybody wrong and be the best. Kobe was barely a lottery pick and had to come off the bench his rookie year because he wasn't quite there yet but he worked his arse off and made himself the best in the game. When you have always been the best you don't have that frick you attitude to throw it back in everybody's face that doubted you.

And TTF just couldn't resist joining the convo.

And that's not even mentioning Artest and Bynum, plus Kidd is a dinosaur.

i don't see how you could debate that the lakers aren't in the top 3 in talent.

I was trying to stay out of it, but I just couldn't resist

Kobe is a hall of famer but Pau isn't anywhere close yet.
I love people saying Kobe/Pau/Odom. Gasol this year has been consitent but for the first 2 years in LA he was very hit and miss and soft as a teddy bear. And Odom can be great one night and be non-existent the whole next week. I've never seen a more off/on player.
Its so funny how Odom, Gasol, Artest, and Brown all became better coming to LA and playing with Kobe.
And as far as Boston goes I've hated the Celtics as long as I can remember so no I try not to watch too many of their games.
