LeBrick still has seven NBA Finals “Participant” Trophies while Jordan has none...I guess LeBrick Is the GOAT when it comes to losing NBA finals...so he’s got that going for him.

There were multiple players in the bubble who have won / lost titles before the bubble. All have said the bubble is the hardest place and hardest situation they’ve ever encountered with regard to basketball. Even notwithstanding the wildness and uncertainty and testing protocols.

No fans. No distractions. No home court. No family. No support. No escape.

Just pure basketball.

Any way of saying that makes it impressive

That was the idea when we said it would be a highly impressive win, but it didn’t turn out that way.

PDX - roster in pitiful shape, then to top it off dame got hurt. There are a couple guys on the court for PDX who likely never play another nba minute. And we haven’t even mention melo yet.

HOU - harden was the best player in the court, but his robin, Russ, posted a minus win share, a minus BPM, and a minus VORP in the playoffs. Due to never being able to get into shape due to covid which forced him to not work out for 21 days and then a subsequent hamstring injury.

DEN - good win. This would be a typical good 2nd rd win in a regular playoff season.

MIA - best player jimmy butler. Then theh next two guys were both banged up.

They had incredible luck, I have heard a lot of people say you need luck to win a title. Well this is a marquee example. Last two title winners maybe the worst two teams to win a title in my lifetime. Maybe could beat one or two of those spurs squads.

True. Jordan preferred getting bounced in the first round over making the finals.

You can qualify it any way you want, whatever gets you through the day. Lakers still won. Wonder how you'll diminish it when they win next year.

Hey reasonable minds can differ. although I am not sure you are being reasonable if you think they beat Houston if russ isn’t the worst player in the court.

So there shouldn't be any championships this year in any sport?

MJ is the only player on the all time offensive and defensive team. Where is Lebron on that list?

Listen, I'm a Heat fan and would loved nothing more than seeing LeBron never win another championship after he gave Pat Riley a big "frick You" and got out of Dodge. Fact of the matter is, Lebron will retire as the leading scorer of all time, top 3 in assists as a forward, behind only 2 pure point guards and 4,000 more rebounds than Michael Jordan. Jordan will have him beat in 9-5 on making NBA All-Defensive team but LeBron may be the best all around defender in NBA history as he could defend all 5 position very effectively.

LeBrick just tied the record for most finals games lost in the history of the NBA...quite a legacy.

Because he’s played in them for nearly a decade straight. Anyone out there even remotely in his ballpark? Didn’t think so. How many teammates and coaches has he made look like All Stars in that stretch?

I would staunchly defend that there are maybe 2 of those Finals losses where LeBron was actually on the better team - every other one he was the underdog. Jordan’s Bulls, conversely, were always the favorite when they reached the Finals. I see probably 5-6 teams LeBron has faced in the Finals better than any that Jordan did. We never got to see the series with the real challenger in that span in the 90s, Houston.

So then you hold it against him getting to the Finals with a bunch of scrubs in Cleveland? Or losing to the multi-time champion Spurs or GSW? And then their somehow even better super team? I’m not convinced Jordan’s Bulls could have beaten them either. We’ll never know.

LeBron in 4-6 in NBA Finals. Is his legacy worse than Jerry West who was 1-8? Babe Ruth retired having struck out more than any hitter in history too. Is that his legacy? How about Brett Favre who retired with one Super Bowl ring and threw more interceptions than any other QB by far?

If there is a ballpark, it's named after this guy, just like the NBA Finals MVP Award is.

Lebron has lead his team in points, rebounds, and assists in all 4 of the NBA Finals series that he's gone on to win. Michael Jordan never had a finals in which he lead the Bulls in all 3 categories.

So the Miami Heat didn't have a competent coach and GM, I guess people will just say he really wanted to bring a title to Cleveland. Give me a break. If Kyrie Irving wasn't there he would have never gone back to Cleveland. He saw it as his best opportunity to win in the east.

You must be out of your mind if you think LeBron is more intelligent than Jordan.
