I sure can. You excuse Jordan's behaviour for some reason. I wonder why...

Go find my posts you idiot. I haven't said anything but neutral things about LeBron on this board in the entire playoffs.

Every time Lebron has gotten a new coach, they win a title. So by your own logic, he was right to do so.

Point was, Jordan undermined the organization. OP or whoever said he never did anything like that. He did. There, does that make you happy now?

He will never be the goat because he is publicly occupied by much more than basketball. He has made himself a polarizing figure. He will thus never catch MJ regardless of his on court success. It’s a matter of perception and he has already lost.

How do people in 2020 not realize this?

Im one that will never believe LeBron will pass Jordan but if he equals the 6 particularly at his age, it certainly gives the conversation more ammo. When all things are figuratively equal in terms of eyes and play, you go to titles.

This is true and I've always said LeBron is the greatest talent to ever play. However being a better talent doesn't make you a better player. Jordan was a better player. The mental edge Jordan had is astronomically bigger than LeBron's talent edge. Bigger, stronger, faster doesn't mean better. Every sport has examples of this.

Jordan undermined the organization so much he won 6 titles that would've been 8 if he didn't retire in his peak. He was LeBron before LeBron in terms of marketability, league coddling etc. yet no one questioned his greatness and ability to win. They expected it. Same can't be said for LeBron. He hasn't been the favorite to win a title since Miami and when faced with Jordan expectations there he failed to live up to them even with a team built specifically to gobble up titles. In fact he wasn't even the alpha there. Wade was. 4,5,6. That was a decade ago and he's just now getting to 4.

He blows by MJ when he comes to off the court stuff. MJ didn't oppose a racist politician in his own state because "Republicans buy shoes too". This is
a preposterous statement btw because it implies MJ thought republicans side with racists and that speaking against racism would offend republicans.

It would be very interesting if we could see what would happen if they switched places.

Lebron going to Chicago with Phil and the consistent supporting cast. Playing in an era where he would be either bigger or faster than anyone he faced.

And Jordan starting in Cleveland and everything they have to offer. MJ dealing with social media and reporters asking questions about foreign politics.

Would Lebron win 8 in a row by not quiting the sport for a few years? Does MJ stick with the Cavs?

This is precisely why MJ has a better perception. He kept his mouth shut because he didn’t want to alienate any of his customers.

You just proved the point.

No im far from an idiot. You got your opinions i got mine. Free country means i can feel the way i want. But as far as what you said to me that makes no sense , micheal Jordan had no help for the longest time . he stayed and help build it for the long haul not jumping ship and teaming up for his rings. He felt guilty that's why he went back to Cleveland.

Winning in 2016 was like winning two, more impressive than any of MJs, so even if you want to discount this one he's still at 4 1/2.

I think he's guaranteed to win 1 more, which brings him even to MJ when you add the career statistical accolades. If somehow Lebron got to 6 it's a done deal.

You're the idiot. Lebron bailed on each team as soon as he saw the littlest of cracks. Not like he stayed to continue building. Every GM gave him what he wanted and at each team he forced management to mortgage itself by trading or signing for who he wanted. He went to the Lakers, couldn't do shite and then influenced Anthony Davis to request a trade. I remember at one point Pelicans were having problems entertaining offers because Davis claimed he wasnt signing long term with another team unless it's the lakers.
