re: If James Harden had to guard James Harden, it would look something like this

Talks. But as someone addressed earlier, Stern wouldn't let that happen. Same as the Kings. People can talk about it all they want, it'll will be a long, long time until you see any relocation/expansion.
If Stern couldn't find any buyers (like Benson) that wanted to stay in New Orleans, he would have had no choice but to sell the team to a group that would most likely have relocated.
That is why Benson stepped up. He wanted to keep the team in New Orleans and he knew if he didn't, they were probably going to relocate.

quote:I'm fully expecting OKC to win. Rockets are coming off of a 4 game road trip, playing their 5th game in 7 nights, and the OKC game is the second of a back-to-back.
Just so we all are clear, you're all prepared for the shite storm of shite talkers that will be in here tonight/tomorrow morning when OKC wins by 10+, correct?
Thunder have had adequate rest recently, had a day off yesterday, and are a really good team.
Rockets also don't have their back-up center. They have been playing 6'9" Terrence Jones at center when Dwight sits.
There is no reason why the Rockets should win this game. It would be great if they could, but they have nothing going for them this game, and I'm fully expecting a loss. Probably even a big loss.

I'm not a Pelicans fan,
Nor am I. Been a Rockets fan since I can remember watching them. My grandmother was a fan of the Rockets when they were an expansion franchise in San Diego.
Besides that, GS is a ton of fun to watch, OKC is probably my favorite team to watch when they have it rolling.
For the most part, as much as it pains me to say it, Klark is right, the onslaught of "new rockets fan" is ridiculous. Much like how everyone became a Texans fan after the second AFC south championship. However, believe it or not, there are a few of us fans who sat through Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Kelvin Cato, Walt Williams, Moochie Norris, etc.
Long story short, shake the haters. Enjoy the team.

I don't mind that there are more fans around Houston. It's not that they are "new" fans. It's probably that they have always been fans, but didn't follow them much when they sucked. That is understandable. Now that they are good, fans enjoy watching them.
Take the Astros for example. I have gone to Astros games as long as I can remember. But since they have been awful recently, I don't even really watch them much on TV. I'm still a "fan" of the Astros, but there isn't any excitement about the team, so not many people talk about them. There is no buzz. When they are good again, there will be more talk about them and more excitement, and it will seem like there are "more" fans.
Only die-hard fans watch every game when a team sucks.

I'm an Orlando Magic fan and travel to watch them play, which hasn't been too worthwhile this year. I only really watch them when they're in Houston or New Orleans...but if I find myself somewhere they're playing. I'll go watch them.
I hope Glen Davis dies in a fire. I've sat courtside and watched them and all he does is whine, cuss and complain.
Then he flips us off when we stand up and encourage him. I hope that fat frick blows out both his knees. And I'm a LSU alum.

Especially baseball, Astros are my favorite pro team but it's painful to watch us lose series after series.

Lol, Harden traveled after he caught the pass.
Did he? He established his right foot as the pivot. First time I thought he moved his left foot, then moved his right. But watching it again, it looks like the front of his right foot never leaves the ground.

I sure as hell hope not. I seriously thought you were about 16. If you are an alum I may as well burn my degree because it isn't worth shite.

he brings up his right heel, but you're right, toes never leave the ground
