Boise could beat Vandy, Miss State, and Ole Miss on a consistent basis.

Miss St is better than any team on their pathetic schedule this year. It's sad actually.

Every time this SEC schedule comparison is brought up, everyone spouts off the entire SEC as if they all play each other while completely disregarding the OOC dogs.
In a typical SEC schedule, Boise would start off with 3-4 rent-a-wins. Then play 4 dogs of the SEC and then 4 really tough teams.
So they would typically have 7-8 wins before worrying...That's the starting point - go from there.
THIS...seriously folks, they beat oregon back to back years and handled georgia as well as any sec team will this year...they would be below LSU/BAMA right now but above everyone else.

Which actually makes sense because that's where they are in the rankings...

They also had 8 months to prepare.

The SEC is not that good this year. There is very little defense played in the conference this year outside of LSU and Bama. LSU doesn't have a good offense and played MSU very conservative before anyone says horrible MSU played good defense Thursday. Boise would be OK in this year's top heavy SEC.

If Boise was in the SEC, they would be 3rd or 4th in the West(depending on how Arkansas was that year) or 2nd or 3rd in the East.

last years boise team would have had 1 loss at worst.
Auburn would have beaten you.
If Alabama played to their potential they could have emasculated Boise.
Arkansas could have beaten Boise.
LSU could have beaten Boise.
I just don't see how in the hell you figure this to be true.

1 maybe 2. If they got Arkansas' schedule they'd be playing @Bama, @LSU, South Carolina, Moo State, Auburn, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Hard for anyone to make that undefeated

So did Oregon.

If they were actually in the SEC they'd have an equal SEC revenue split and would be able to recruit more depth, so the question has to be considered in context.
So this would also applyto Louisiana Tech?

It would all depend on whose schedule you're talking about. Not all SEC schedules are created equal. For example, last year, Boise State's schedule was tougher than Kentucky's but a lot weaker than South Carolina's schedule (played the #1 team twice) who had the toughest schedule in the SEC.

there is a lot of ignorance in this thread lol.
They'd be 9-3 at worst and probably more like 10-2.
Seems like yall aren't watching Boise St play

Ppl are stupid. Boise plays nfl style ball with the accurate qb, bruising running back, and attacking sound defense. Wont b surprised if boise hoists the crystal

If they played in the West....at least 4. They would be too beat up to make it through the season. Actually, they would have at least 3 losses in either the Big 10 or Big 12 conference and at least 2 in the Pac 10.
