A perfect example of an "iconic" photograph is the black power shot of Tommie Smith and John Carlos in the 1968 Olympics. This transcends sports and becomes an image that is burned into your memory.

Just reminds me that before a couple of years ago Tiger was larger than life. Kid brought the full load to every event. Truly the greatest ever, changed the game.
