so you stand with a guy that makes pretty disgusting racist tropes? We're not talking some faux racism here, like oh he's a racist because he's wearing a MAGA hat or was critical of players kneeling for the anthem or something like that. We are also not talking about some comment made in youth or back in the 70s he was a grown professional broadcaster at the time that had spent years coaching a sport with what 70% black players making a comment about someone's lips is pretty bad.

The Gruden stuff aside, Goodell is one of the worst sports commissioners I've ever seen.

CK didn't get canceled. That anti football pussy didn't start kneeling until he was on his way out of a job.

I have not kept up with any additional sources of emails and keep thinking this is all coming from Washington’s server or backup. Most kept mentioning while Gruden worked at ESPN without mentioning what email he used (at least ones I have read which have mostly focused on words used).

Did Gruden use his ESPN email address? Is this why ESPN went so hard with this and kept it pushed as headlines over weekend to distract from them having this info for years?

Michelin tire thing might not trigger some kind of internal software search or audit program as it’s not the n word and didn’t reference race but an individual, but unless the gay stuff was spelled with some characters, numbers, or just incredibly poorly I can’t believe ESPN/Disney didn’t already know (outside of “queers” the articles I have read have hidden the exact spelling of the words).

I thought these were just emails that Gruden sent to Bruce Allen @ Allen's Redskins' email address - and then acquired by the league in their investigation of the Redskins. And then leaked by Goodell.

That’s what I had been thinking and have just read that Gruden worked at ESPN at the time. With Allen and Gruden working together at Oakland & Tampa and Allen hiring his brother at Washington I doubt every communication with Allen was part of his employment at ESPN, but people keep mentioning Gruden doing this using his work email. I was wondering if that came out officially instead of just being the time frame he worked at ESPN.

In the exchanges, Gruden used his personal email account while Allen wrote from his team account. In some cases, Allen initiated the conversations and Gruden chimed in, while in other cases, they trade vulgar comments several times.

if he was out of a job, how was he kneeling during the anthem?
Do you guys even think through your stupid nonsense?

He started kneeling in the 2016 preseason and played that year and while the team was bad, is numbers were not bad at all, he threw 16 TDs and only 4 picks. There is no football only argument he wasn't one of the best 64 QBs in 2017

don't be obtuse, the guy has been out of the NFL since 2016 and it wasn't for his play only, there is no good football argument you can make to justify AJ McCarron replacing an injured Deshaun Watson in 2017

Thanks.

So it was Allen using his employer’s email not Gruden. Not sure why people keep mentioning how dumb and also unprofessional it was for Gruden to use his work email for these conversations.

come on bruh.... he was riding the bench. the best 64 QBs? really? everyone knows CK was only interested in starter money. he wasn't getting that. he had opportunities to sign if you want to believe the rumors.
