Lebron isn’t even a top five player all time. Sure, he’s athletic and has power but that doesn’t mean he’s up there with the best.

1. Jordan
2. Bryant
3. Shaq
4. Duncan
5. Nowitzki

Nah, he's lost too many finals and failed to elevate his team enough to be considered the GOAT. You could argue number two behind MJ but even that is questionable.

Fear
Narcissism
Ego protection
Need for validation
False sense of power and control

These are the primary personality drivers of people who feel they must have the last word. This is you, you have serious mental issues. You’d be a psychopath if you weren’t a pussy.

His character? Lebron would shoot you in the face if a Chinese honeypot offered him $1M to do it. For fricks sake the dude faked being racially harassed for attention.

The only thing LeBron surpasses MJ at is staging phony hate crimes.

It’s hard to explain to people who are ignorant about sports. Stat geeks can recite and compare numbers but they have no idea where the numbers come from. Freedom of movement, no hand checking, no bumps, barely any ball pressure. That alone is going to open the floor and increase the pace which inflates all offensive stats and allows for much more face up play but has zero bearing on winning. Full court pressure, hand checks, bumps are going to slow pace down and force more back to the basket play which lowers possessions and also has zero bearing on winning. So you get this completely irrelevant argument based on nothing. Winning is understanding the rules and the pathway to victory then doing that as consistently as possible. Jordan was much, much better at this than Lebron and since the point is to win he’s better period.

Recency bias is a huge thing. I'm old enough now to see it all the time in all mediums not just sports.

It will be amusing for all the LeBron fanboys to see the next great NBA player crowned the GOAT by all the idiots in their 20s.

But it’s exclusive to this generation. When we came up we didn’t question previous accomplishments, the record is there for a reason. The only way you could do that is if you witnessed someone surpass those achievements or else you had no credibility. But now since they’re taught they don’t have to earn anything that mindset is projected onto everything.

If LeBron kept his mouth shut and didn't talk about his stupid political opinions, way more people would regard him as the GOAT.

People can't separate the player from the pseudo intellectual wannabe activist

Your post just means you didn't watch the teams from the 80's and 90's. Highlights don't count. Also Jordan was just as great in defense as he was on offense.
