I pull for LSU unless they're playing the Cajuns. I pull for all of the Louisiana schools in the bowls.

you seem to be in the minority...I know plenty of ULL fans who despise all things LSU, and I've seen first hand what happens if you wear LSU gear to a ULL game and heard stories of friends who wore LSU clothes on ULLs campus

I went to ULL for grad school and never saw anyone get harassed for wearing LSU stuff. I wore LSU hat to my Anatomical KNES class everytime.

good to hear, my friend could have been full of it I suppose
I edited it because I meant I've seen first hand about football games, I wore my LSU pullover to a ULL game last year and got plenty of snide and rude comments and my friend who goes to ULL told me to take it off so we wouldn't get harassed about it anymore
Anyways enough of the negativity, congrats to the Cajuns on an awesome season and a huge bowl win. Go celebrate

You wear an LSU pullover to a Southern UAB game you would get those looks. Don't make it a ULL only thing. If I wore a ULL jacket to LSU Arkansas game LSU fans would harass me also.
As for celebrating, I'm in Arkansas and it's too cold to go out.

yes, but that goes back to what I said about the fan bases not being able to co-exist

Good, then travel, get out of Louisiana and work across the country and world. Then come back and rethink LSU as a "flagship" institution. It's not.
It's sad when LSU grads like you measure success and respect by comparisons with ULL. Does it make you feel strong to compare our school to one that has never and will never receive the funding to compete with LSU? Truly successful people don't compare down.

that was a well deserved win by them. I was thinkin yesterday watching this game that SDSU stealing it from them at the end seemed so unfair because they outplayed SDSU the whole game. So I really felt thier pain, especially with that horrible call on 4th down that kept the SDSU drive alive allowing them to take what seemed like the game winning TD! but lo and behold, they quickly drive down the field and get a call on SDSU in what seemed like a makeup call on bad call earlier against them.
and their kicker with the confidence of Drew Alleman sails one through the uprights and sets off a wild celebration! Geaux Cajuns!!
