Win or lose, it's a superb bet if..

A. The person you made that wager with is good for the money/wager.

B. You are risking even money on a wager, that even with one of the nation's top three chalks for '08-'09 in UGA, one should have to lay at least 5/1 against..and actually should've had to lay more like 10/1 or greater on such a wager against a particular single team making it to the title game.

C. You now can slightly hedge by picking from an assortment of probable teams to win the BCS title at odds of mostly 8/1 or greater, such as USC at 3/1, OSU, Fla, Ga, LSU, OU, Mo, WVU,etc..as to increase your probable winnings, and/or offset any losses.

**Note** UGa is available at 8/1 for $500 max at multiple Las Vegas and Offshore outs. You could now risk back 1000, 1200, 1300, or 1500 on UGa to win 8K, 9600, 10,400, or 12K, somewhat increasing and reducing your exposure all at the same time. In a game that should they make it to, they will surely be favored against all sans possibly an heavyweight USC, OSU,or OU, of which they could be small fav, dog, or pick. Totally agree. Dont make a 10k bet, then win and not make him pay you. I bet if UGA makes the NC game then your gonna be 10k poorer.
