$10K will not hurt this guy, at all. I originally wanted to bet no more than $5K since $10K would hurt, but he wanted to double it so I'd back out. Time to put up or shut up.

I'm not so sure about that. This guy is rich....Old money oil rich. He doesn't even have to work at all. Question is, after UGA chokes (like usual), do I make him pay up? He's a good guy and a friend of mine...I might just make him take me out to a nice steak dinner with scotch/cigars or something.

considering UGA will drop 1 game it shouldn't, and it isn't nearly as strong as people make them out to be, great bet

I'm not sure. The last time we did this ($1,000) was for the 2003 BCS Champ. After LSU won I wasn't going to make him pay, but he insisted. I may just rip up the check.
