Nick Bosa could be the number 1 overall pick in this draft, and Ed Oliver could go right behind him.

Lmossing ganes because of injury is light years different than missing games because you’re scarred to be inured.

And I’m positive the Steelers would have rather gone In another direction in 2013 had they known their pick was going to lay down on them this year. You’d have to be completely gullible or a total moron to think otherwise.

Would that be why you’re not in a head office?

Both could have come back and played this year. Oliver could have only missed one maybe two games.

Right, because any savvy business minded GM would openly embrace the opportunity to decrease the value of the bonus money they paid out to a player by having them sit for an entire season.

We need a favor from you, and by we I’m referring to the entirety of humanity. We need for you to grab a sharp object and perform an impromptu emergency self-visectomy to ensure that you won’t procreate either at all, or at the very least any further. We need for you to take one for the team. Unlike Greedy.

He was on the franchise tag, he didn't get paid anything this year.

Because I disagree about 21 year old kids sitting out football games?

I can't imagine what life is like watching football in your trailer cussing young adults over meaningless football games and attacking their character for making a business decision that will change theirs and their families lives for seemingly multiple generations.

Each player gets a draft grade prior to the bowl season. Insurance could be purchased by the NCAA for injuries that negatively affect draft position based on these "grades". What constitutes an injury would have to be pre-determined (was surgery requored? Rehab? Both?). Playing is obviously still up to the player, but this may provide a level of financial security that may encourage some to play.

I’m sure watching the games on your 19 inch project issue magnivox tube special are a real hoot. “Alabama raped us again this year. Oh well, at least none of the players decreased their draft value.”

Jaylen Smith had an insurance policy for something like $700k but lost somewhere in the $18 million range in garauntees money when he got hurt.

You've devolved this into some sort of low brow name calling contest because you have nothing of value to add.

No. Because you’re an adult aged American citizen that lacks even a basic working understanding of economics and sensible business practice. We’re trying to get better, not worse.

I believe this is what started the low brow antics.

Lol, I'd put my knowledge and application of economics and business's practices up against most anyone on this site.

I'd be happy to compare qualifications.

I believe you’ve already done this when you emplied that Leveon Bell’s playing hooky for a season was just hunky dory with the organization that shelled out signing bonus money 5 years prior to a guy they assumed would be playing for the time agreed upon.

He had already been payed that money. He was on the franchise tag this year so he was paid precisely $0. We're the Steelers happy he sat out, clearly not, but they didn't lose any money on it. What I said was it is ludacrous to say that the Steelers wouldn't have drafted Bell because of this year when they would have.

I added that you have the grammar and vocabulary skills of a third grader, which seems to be accurate.

No you added a comment about me misspelling a word. Which, by the way, according numb-nut message board law, means I forfeit all prior arguments. Congrats. You might want to take your new found confidence gained from it and use it to look your wife in the eyes later when you try to stick it in.

You were also blabbering incoherently about guaranteed money for Leveon Bell that doesn't exist.

“Honey, that was the friskiest 30 second lovemaking you’ve ever given me. What’s got into you?”

“Well I was going around in circles and badly losing an internet argument, then the guy goes and misspells “implied”, and whamo! Nolo contendere! I feel like a new man! I’m going to apply for that pay day loan first thing in the morning!”

You could just admit you've made multie factual errors in this thread. It's ok, it happens to all of us.
