I don’t get the LeBron hate... weren’t the Cavs expected to lose?

Nobody actually expected the Cavs to do anything. Many were predicting a sweep. Then it happens, to nobody’s surprise, and now all of a sudden LeBron is getting excoriated for it?

After the incredible playoff run he had? I assume what’s going on here is all of the LeBron haters we’re just waiting for one small moment that they can use to unleash their hate, because he’s been so good in these playoffs that they had no real opportunity to hate. Now they finally got their one chance to hate.

Yes. That's what I don't understand either. The Warriors are one of the greatest teams of all time that have won 3 of the last 4 championships. This board is just full of Lebron haters and MJ fanatics.

LeBron hate has NOTHING to do with this series.

Some people (like me) simply don’t like him. Doesn’t really have anything to do with his talent. He’s just not that likeable. He’s a little dramatic, kinda comes off as soft, and is a little self-important.

Kobe was a complete a-hole and I honestly found him to be a lot easier to tolerate.

There was about a 2% chance of the cabs beating this golden state team. That decreased to about 0.00001% after they lost the first game. That win at golden state would have given them some momentum. You put up 50 points and lose on some last second derp from JR Smith takes the wind out your sails

I mean it doesn't bother me, but the Dallas media is having a field day tearing him apart because of his excuses regarding not having a chance against such a stacked team, while he's the only star on Cleveland.

They're saying that you never heard a single word or excuse for losing a game in the 2011 Finals from Dirk when they had to play a stacked Heat team with three all-stars.

Which I guess kind of makes sense.

I don't like the overreaction any time a foul is called on Lebron or him being on the ground holding his face when he gets tapped.

That 2011 Mavs roster was pretty darn goood. Kidd. Marion. Chandler. Terry.

The team, including Dirk, didn’t have a starting All-Star. The GOAT came off the bench lmao. I thought maybe Jet was one that year, but nope. Just Dirk.

The team’s seasonal stats honestly weren’t that great. They just turned it on in post-season.

Beat a solid Brandon Roy led Blazers team, swept Kobe and LA, beat the Thunder with three MVP winners on the roster 4-1 and then took out the first modern day super team in the Finals.

I still think that championship should be regarded as the most impressive in at least the last 20 years.

That's certainly how I regard it.

Dirk took a team from the West to the promised land with Jason Terry as his second best player

Ehh i don't know about that, but it did give us Cuban ripping Skip apart for his "they wanted it more" thing. I still watch that sometimes

If you want to kill lebron for losing to that Mavs team than i certainly can’t argue. It is by far his biggest flaw in his career. Killing him for getting swept against GS is a stretch especially considering the game 1 he had.

He pouted all of overtime. It took 2:26 of overtime for him to even get a shot off. His best playoff game turned into his worst finish. How do you have 49 points in the reg but only two FT’s in overtime?
