Hypothetical - Shaq stays in Orlando. Are we talking about Jordan and his 6 rings?

I'd argue no. He may have 4 or 5 but Orlando was going to take down the bulls at least once in their second 3 peat run.

The Bulls took the Magic to 6 with an MJ who was only like 2 months back from Baseball.

Have you forgotten about Penny's knee problems?

Nick Anderson fell off a cliff so they wouldn't have done anything before Penny came apart.

Sure but they still lost. And Shaq wasn't in his prime yet. Shaq would be improving over that time period

I mean it would all depend on Penny's health which was not good.

Well it's not likely the rosters would remain the same at any rate

Is it really that hard to believe that Shaq gets in their way one of the 3 years? I'd say it's almost inevitable.

He was only out of Orlando for the last two titles. He wasn't playing with bums on the Lakers, they were the 4 seed before he got there, and only got 1 game off the Jazz in 97 and 98.

You're right. Still think there is a decent chance he stops one of the 2

MJ's Bulls swept a healthy 60-win Magic team as if they were the expansion Raptors

You do realize the Bulls dunked all over the best 90s Magic team, right?

I've made the argument several times, I'm not sure any 90s Bulls team beats thats 1995 Houston Rockets squad.

As an Orlando fan, I recognize this was like peak Olajuwon. He made Shaq look silly at times.

No, but the Spurs end up with 7 or 8 rings instead of 5.

Yeah no shite they lost when Jordan had only been back for 2 months and the Bulls didn't have Rodman yet.

I think the addition of Rodman was more important. Jordan was playing well at that time.
