We don't need to bring all time records into this. Rodman won his 5th straight rebounding title that year...etc.

I did leave out Mike Brown as coach of the year though. I'll edit.

I like how you described all of Jordan's teammates, didn't come off as an attempt to sway your argument in anyway

If you're going to cite Jackson as COTY, you need to do the same for Brown

Jordan nearly got the Bulls to the Finals in the late 80s. They were WAY worse than LBJ's Cavs. And the East was infinitely better at that time (two all-time great dynasties in Boston and Detroit, plus Cleveland was very good)

well the man is right

Um, do you know where Ilgauskas is on the all-time rebounding list?

Ilgauskas was a well above average player. Which is much than anything MJ had during his early years with the Bulls

Right, because the 2002-2003 Cavs were so good, considering they finished the season with the 3rd worst record in franchise history (17-65).

Wasn't Ilgauskis old as shite when he played with Lebron?

And Mike Brown COTY

I always enjoy what you have to say. But c'mon with this one. Lebron James is THE only reason he won COTY. I wonder how good of a coach Kobe thinks he is

Would Jackson have won COTY that season if he didn't have MJ?

I never said they were anyway near equal in their coaching ability.

My point was I don't think Mike Brown has ever been the best coach in the league.

Jackson probably has.

But do you think Michael Jordan would have won six NBA Titles if he had gone anywhere else but Chicago?

Not sure. 9 of Jackson's 11 titles, he had two top-5 players on each team.

He's a great coach but you can't ignore that he's also has the luxury of coaching several of the all time most talented players

If he had gone to Houston or Portland with one the top two picks he would've won more.

Chicago was a dumpster fire.

Anywhere? Sure. Probably not Cle though. Lebron on some of the all time great teams would be insane. Can you imagine?
