How will Larry Fitz use his University of Phoenix degree?

I think he needs to stop this football thing and work for a top PR firm with a communication degree from such a prestigious program.

Bet he goes to work for ESPN or FOX after the NFL. The online degree will play no part in that hire. He can actually talk, unlike half the morons in the NFL.

I'm no fan of for-profit institutions, but frick you for your smug attitude about Fitzgerald. Through his charities in multiple countries, he's done a lot more good for the world than anyone on this board likely has.

there have been a couple the past few years who did this
i don't think UPhoenix is that shady, but their operating plan is to recruit kids who can't get into real college (and these days, that's tough) and then charge ivy-level prices for a degree that has very little value

While endorsing a company that will take thousands from people for a degree that will get most resumes thrown in the trash.

The best thing UoP ever did was show traditional brick and mortars how much money they could make through offering online degrees.

How many nights do you think he had the choice of partying and studying for his University of Phoenix communications test? Do you think he ever have tell the coaches he couldn't make practice because he had to go to a tutor?

Why be such a dick about it? By all accounts, Fitzgerald is an awesome guy who does a ton for his community and, for all you know, he may have donated any payment received for making the commercial. I get it - UoP is not the best place to earn your degree, but if it matters to him, then so what...
