No one is going to be liked by everyone. He just doesn't seem to accept it. It just baffles me that someone so rich and successful wants to be loved so much. You've set up generations of your family up for life and are arguably the greatest player of all time. Who gives a frick what random people think of you.

i truly dont get why lebron cares either - i know i wouldnt.
but what i dont understand is why you do not like him for being that way, it seems like a somewhat redeemable quality

It's not why I don't like him. I wouldn't really even say I "don't" like him. I'm pretty meh about him. I just call out what I see as bullshite from him. A lot of stuff he does on the court I just find annoying.
Biggest thing for me is the dramatics. I think he lays it on pretty thick because he wants to push his legacy, when his legacy doesn't even need pushed.

Lebron can't win. He'll always be criticized for something. After the loss to Dallas he said something like "I'm gonna wake up to my life and all the fans have to wake up and be them." And people shite on him for being an a-hole. Now he's being criticized for trying to be likeable?
I mean he also had the "not 1, not 2, not 3" pep rally. I don't think he did that to make everyone like him. People hated him for being so cocky. When he came back to Cleveland and said the team wasn't ready to contend for a title yet and they had a lot of work to do, he was criticized for already making excuses before the season started.
I mean it doesn't matter either way. He's undoubtedly a transcendent talent and athlete. But the amount of criticism and over analysis on him for every single mistake/bad play he's done since 16 is astounding. I just think it's spectacular that he's held up to that kind of pressure and scrutiny. Regardless of if you like him, not many people have held up to a bright spotlight like that for so long as he's done.

Did I read your post? I quoted it haha.
Us Lebron lovers are pretty god damn familiar with his downfalls. And we can discuss them with ease.
It's the haters who make themselves look like morons and if you can't see that then I can't help you.

It annoys me when he lays on the court after a no call. It also annoys me when he's been jacking up 3s this playoffs when he doesn't need to, when he can't make any.
But hard to fault him on shot selection when he's been the smartest/most efficient scorer of his generation. He knows what he's doing. The laziness after a no call is annoying and no excuse. But it's such a small part of his game.
We've never seen a player like him and you'll sound dumb if you say we have. Who can be an elite efficient scorer, elite volume scorer, elite distributor, and elite defender of positions 1-4? It's so fun to watch his overall game

What's that have to do with him being amazing?

But what I'm saying is kinda annoying about his game is the reason people around here shite on him daily
Posted on 5/25/15 at 12:05 am to Tigerfan56
I have MJ as the GOAT as well. But people around here scare me with the shite they say. Like Jordan was invincible while Lebron is a baby back bitch
fricking people

How sad is the life of a LeBron nut hugger? How can yall breathe with his nuts so far down your throat? It's pathetic that you all defend and worship a man you'll never meet.

MJ was great but time has turned his legend into a folk tale where he never had a bad game or could do wrong. And I think some feel the need to expand that folk talk by exaggerating the faults and weaknesses of Lebron in order to create more of a gap between the legacies.

quote:given the amount of rustle I see in this post it seems the LeBron haters have won this round. they really got to you
I feel for you. The speed and ferociousness in which you've fallen from the top is tough to watch. At first it was fun, then it became sad.
It started as "Hell never win a title." "Doesn't have killer instinct." And that was the story for years, the haters were all on top. It didn't matter that his best teammate in Cleveland was Mo Williams. MJ would've won 10 titles with that squad (the dude who was 0-9 in playoffs without Scottie Pippen).
Then he goes to Miami. fricking traitor! Quitter! Dude really has no heart or drive. Took the easy road. And he did it on national TV, the nerve! (All proceeds from the show went to charity, fricking tPOS).
He loses to Dallas. Lolz. What a choker. fricking bum. And thenn downhill for the haters in a fricking avalanche.
Two historically great seasons in a row resulting in MVP's, titles, and finals MVPs. There were still some not clutch people out there, not many, but there's always idiots. Now he's hitting more game winners and clutch shots to ice games in the playoffs. He's about to sweep the ECF without Love or Kyrie.
Now you're left with "lol dude has a receding hairline!" Or "I hate how he complains" (which every player does). "Did you see how dramatic he was being tonight?!" (Wasn't there a player who once ran around the floor all game just fine with the flu, to the tune of 61 points. But during dead balls and after the game, made his teammates carry him?)
It's a shame that you've wasted all this time hating a top 5 player in history. The worst thing he's done is leave a team via free agency, had ESPN annoint him at 16 years old, or what else? He never raped anyone. He never caused the murder of a family member over his gambling debt.
Wether you like it or not, were all witnesses. If you got hate in your heart, let it out!
pretty epic melt after a bron win

I'd say how immature and dumb it is, but it's sort of redundant to call a homophobic insult "immature and dumb"
