Bearcats in the playoffs if they run the table. Time is right for G5 love. This is a quality team.

Well if their kicker would make his FGs, it’d be an 11 point game right now.

So here we go.

It's pretty obvious Cincinnati is not quite a legitimate national title contender, but I don't see any evidence that they don't put up a good fight based on last year's Peach Bowl and how they are doing on the road today.

By the time Georgia and Alabama have beaten each other up, I'm thinking the Bearcats could keep within twenty of either team, which is as good as anyone else is going to do.

I mean…I’m seeing only two legit real contenders so far, but there’s four playoff slots. And one of those two legit teams is that team Cincy put up the fight against.

Thats likely happening anyway, no matter who 3/4 are.

Cincy currently accomplishing this with a $68 Million athletic budget. 55th in the country.

Imagine them with $100 Million+ budget like half to most of the P5 programs. Would have the entire P5 not named Alabama shitting their pants.

You ever been to Cincinnati during football season? The weather usually sucks and way less hot women than other top tier locations. Why would a bunch of guys that can anywhere go there

I’m kinda rooting for a Bama, UGA, OU, Cincy playoff.

Would be legit hilarious for tAlliance to get completely left out.

Who cares what you see on 10/2? There have been national title winners who struggled early in a season and got it together as the year went. Clemson made a QB change in 2018 right around now and won a national title. OSU lost to a bad VT team. LSU gave up 300 yards rushing to Ole Miss in early November and only beat an average Texas team by 7 at Texas.

There is so much development that happens with teams throughout a season

We get it. You, as an Ohio State guy, does not want to see an in-state team like Cincy be given a playoff birth.

I actually was the one saying we don't know who is playoff worthy in October.

You are the one saying Cincy can't beat Bama/UGA, not me

Have you not seen ESPN already saying there is a huge gap? they will continue that narrative all the way through november then no matter the resumes of anyone else they will have already put the loser of the SECCG in.

They may well be deserving, but again impossible to know in week 5

If they both go 12-0, they’ll both make the playoff. Whether it’s right or wrong, the committee probably won’t seed the loser 4th either. Avoid the immediate rematch.

If Oklahoma gets things together and goes undefeated, they will make it. Oregon is also in the same boat. Penn State/Mich/Iowa are all undefeated and look strong in the B1G.

There's still a very good chance Cincy runs the table and does not make it in. The question is whether a one-loss champion from outside the SEC will knock them out.
