Sucks he doesn't get credit for these wins....how much does coaching have an impact or are the Warriors so good they don't need coaching?

I mean, he's 19-0 as a HC in the NBA

Technically he's 0-0. Kerr is getting credit in the record books as I understand it. NBA may change the policy though.

What happens if Kerr comes back and the Warriors go on a losing streak? Does the media make Walton the next hot commodity? I think his coaching has a very small impact on this team.

Luke Walton in the timeouts: "Steph, do what you do". Boom. 19-0. I could be 19-0 with that roster.

I think Walton's biggest attribute is knowing who to have on the floor when. He's not that far removed from playing and doesn't over think situations.

Granted, Byron Scott could be 19-0 with this team sooooooo

Marc Jackson must've been garbage though.
Not sure if serious. If you are serious, you must be ignorant about basketball. MJ helped build that team. They were already an excellent team when MJ left. Without him, that team wouldn't be what it is today.

He instilled toughness. That's about it. He was a cheerleader. He brought no coaching beyond motivational speaking. He was way more "you guys go play hard and figure it out" but lacking the results that Kerr elevated them to. Poor Xs and Os to boot, Walton is a way sharper mind.

I consider this to any coach who is with Lebron. They're just there because someone has to be.

I can agree with this. He lacked in actually coaching the team, but definitely deserves some credit for the chemistry you see them play with.

Byron Scott would be 12-7 at best with this roster. Remember this cat doesn't believe in analytics or the 3 ball.

People underrate this.

Think about the biggest change Kerr made from Mark Jackson and it has to do with players on the floor.

Just look at how much David Lee played for Jackson vs. Kerr.

And one of Walton's biggest pluses so far is that he hasn't been afraid to basically bench Bogut a lot this year and either go with Ezili or their "death lineup". I realize Bogut has been banged up, but a lot of teams probably would have rushed him back.
