Long suffering NY Rangers fan here.

Been looping a glorious 1994 in my head for 30(!) years now.

I live in Raleigh and am a casual Hurricanes fan. I didn't grow up watching hockey, but it is a lot of fun, especially live. I usually go to a couple of games and year.

With your user name, I think you should gravitate towards the Hurricanes.

Anyone catch the Lightning at the Stars last night? Some great goal tending.

ETA: I got this Victory+ streaming service to get my Ranger games. Some Stars games are included! That's how I watched the Stars last night. Got the app on my phone and my TV.

You think that qualifies as long suffering? Try being a diehard for the team you beat in '94.

All this time, I figured it would be Fertitta bringing a team to Houston, since he was so outspoken about it. But the league is likely going to want a new arena unless someone is willing to pump a bunch of upgrades into the Rockets arena.

I seriously doubt a new Houston arena will happen in the city limits, and I’m sure some here will disagree but an arena in The Woodlands or Katy or something would doom this thing to failure. Severely restricts your potential ticket base

Isn't Maple Leaf Pub within city limits? We went to watch Panthers/Bruins a few years ago when we were in town for a wedding. The place was packed early Friday afternoon through the evening.

St Louis Blues. I was able to listen to KMOX at night from NOLA back in the 70's with the great Dan Kelly announcing. Been a fan ever since.

If you took a team just made up of players the Sabres let go it would be unstoppable

O’Reilly, Eichel, Reinart
