Ryan is having a good year (maybe great). Mahomes deserves the MVP at this point of the season. The Falcons are not passing NO or Carolina in the Division/wild Card race.

That is definitely not a negligible difference.
There are at least 3-4 quarterbacks who are having better seasons than Brees. Mahomes, Ryan, and Goff. Rivers is up there too. Fitzmagic has one less passing td in 95 less pass attempts.

Brees has a higher passer rating and QBR than all 4 QBs.
Better completion % than all 4 QBs, better TD:INT ratio than all 4 QBs, as well as more game winning drives than all 3 QBs combined and just as many as all 4 QBs combined. But clearly the worst of the bunch!!!

According to QBR, Charlie Batch is a better quarterback than Drew Brees. You really want to bring ESPN's fake stats into this?
All 5 and I mentioned have higher ups (by at least half a yard, two by a full yard), and all by Fitzpatrick have more yards and touchdowns. And 4 of the 5 have a higher td% than Brees. Only Ryan is behind him and that's by .2%
Brees isn't going to win the MVP this year or at all in his career because he doesn't deserve one. He won't make first team All-Pro this year or ever again in his career.
