This isn’t the NFL. I doubt you’ll see much come of it outside of maybe using defenders to launch yourself.

I see your point. Something I find a little perplexing concerning the "leading with the head tackle" scenario. Just how in the heck do you stop a ball carrier that dives over the line of scrimmage and without leading with your helmet without making contact with the runner's head? Will they eventually make a rule saying that you have to wait until the shoulders are exposed in making a clean hit?

Might as well take off the helmet and pads and give everybody a piece of cloth to wear in their waistlines of their pants.

Well when you basically outlaw any tackle above the waste, defenders are going to go low. The hurdle is the natural response to that.
