lulz Lebron played GM and Coach for the cavs he basically got who he wanted which ended up blowing his head up even more
lebron did not nix the amare deal to ensure the cavs kept JJ hickson long term
i'm sure he had input in plenty other decisions, though

How immature is he? Honestly? He's managed to make the transition from most hyped basketball prodigy ever to a successful pro without any real speed bumps. People give him crap for the Decision, which was a marketing miscalculation, but if the worst thing you ever do is exercise your free agent rights in a made for TV special that donates a million bucks to charity... you've done a great job in life.
honestly, it seems like he is remarkably well-adjusted for a guy who has lived his entire life as a public figure.

All u know about him off the court is really just what the media talks about.

Tiger Woods was the family man but secretly he was running around banging whores.
Lebron could be that or he could be a regular guy. Either way judging him is without any real knowledge and just guessing
/if I had to guess I would put him more towards the Tiger Woods side though. U just don't live that type of life without it messing with your head whomever you are.

Right so it's pointless to think we know him.
And fwiw, I dont remotely think tiger is a bad person based on the info I know about him.

You don't think he is a good person based on the info you know about him either do you?

It is just insane to me how you think there absolutely zero justification for not liking Lebron.
For me it is a sequence of events. It is not just individual events.
And I know you are going to start throwing out hollow stats, but my big beef is that first he CLEARLY quit on his team, and THEN decided to do the decision, and hour long special just so he could say he was going to leave. then you can throw in the pep rally or whatever you want.
Its like he kept piling it on.
I just cannot fathom how you can call all hate for Lebron irrational.

Read the comment again, I most certainly stick by my statement.

You don't have the Game 6 that Lebron had if you quit on your team.
You just fricking don't. There's no way he quit.
Game 5 was bewildering, and it was one of his worst performances ever (behind his wilting in the Finals last year), but to say he quit is just ridiculous.

I dont understand how people can question his maturity or anything else regarding how he handles himself on/off the court. He is the model citizen of how someone with his ability should live their life.
IMO, the only real reason to not like the guy is if a)your from cleveland and you have irrational hate bc he bailed on your city or b)he is just a superstar and people tend to not like superstars.
Everything else isnt a real reason.
I hated Lebron the entire time he was in Cleveland mainly bc I was a Kobe>Lebron person. But people's irrational hatred for Lebron has literally driven me to root for him. I genuinely hope he wins a title so that everyone who says "Lebron sucks bc he cant win a title" will go away.

I watched the same game you did.
He sat there behind the 3 point line with his hands down...doing NOTHING.
I don't care what you want to rationalize it as. He quit.

I'm just reiterating what Baloo said, if the worst thing you've ever done ended with millions donated to a charity, you've lived a great life.

Is this the game where he put up 27/19/10?

Since when is this the only thing that people have had a beef with.
Now you guys are omitting things and basing arguments off of it.

Its the game where his team was down and he SAT behind the 3 point line with his hands down doing nothing....according to you apparently after you have good numbers in the first part of the game you can completely stop playing.
