I get that the NBA probably sent a private memo to all players not to address it but if one player would speak out, you’d think it’d be him.

No people bitch when players complain about stupid shite and stir up controversy over fake victimhood. And then we cringe when we see those same people towing the corporate line when in the face of actual injustice. Enes is the one political athlete who has faced down true injustice and is the one player you would expect to not bitch out.

I think you’re missing the point. And that is players love to tell their beliefs and how they care for social issues. But when the time for them to show their convictions, they got nothing to say.
They wanted the public to give attention to their messages and take them seriously. They wanted to play the political game(no one forced them). Now, they’re in the game and they don’t like it.
