there arent many college kids that can throw a ball 70-80 yards

Agreed, but I would amend and say there aren't many humans who can throw a football that far, much less college kids...there are a few, but doesn't take long to call the roll.

I know many schools where multiple QB's are in this range. 70 yards is common in college.

While not impossible, I would call serious B.S. on 70 yards being common...the elite arms can throw it that far, but common would be more like 55-63 yards...anything over 65 is exceptional.

Good HS prospects 45+

That can't be right, I went to a shitty high school and literally 6-10 of us could do that. Hell, I played CB and OT and I did that on a regular basis.

Agreed..
I played QB and could hit 53-57 Everytime

The guy who graduated the year before me was probably 5 yards longer and my backup was on par with me

I had a decently strong arm for my size (5'9" 170 in high school) but kids now days are bigger and stronger

Hell I coach a middle schooler now who can throw a TDY 55 And he is In 7th grade and is 6'0" tall. TDY is one size smaller than a high school ball

Brees is nowhere close to top three in arm strength. The NFL ball is larger too. I was at a college practice in August and the four QB's threw the ball 59, 54, 51 and 48 from one knee. With a running start, one hits 75 and one his 70 and they are young qb's.

You are way off...are you involved in recruiting at all. There were three kids in BR high schools who could throw 65+ last year that I know of. Of course they are all playing college ball now too.
