Ended up in a bad conference by not being proactive during the shift.

They were a 7 seed their last title year but IMO you could see them starting to get worse. Ollie is just not that good of a coach, and they need to make a change. But that run probably bought him a ton of capital. No reason they should be this bad. Remember when he was on a bunch of NBA short lists? Lol

That last title was a serious fluke.
I remember Louisville beating them by something like 40 points that year. Kentucky had no business losing to them.
Like someone already said, Ollie bought himself some time with that natty.
But they will have to send him packing sooner or later.

Being in the American isn't their problem. There is decent enough basketball in that conference that they should not have fallen off a cliff. Its more that Kevin Ollie blows arse than anything else.

They’re the third worst team Arkansas has played this year IMO.

It was a tough finish. Obviously celebrate the Final Four, but felt like it should have been another title. Enter the tourney #1 overall seed with only two losses - Wisconsin and UConn. Had beaten that UK Final Four team 3 times on the year already, but came up short against UConn again. They had our number that year.
