Is this a good thing or bad thing for the sport?

Beats having an evil empire.

Not sure if we can really call it parity yet, or the middle-to-good pack getting worse. Ohio State still ended up winning the championship rather easily and the rest of the teams got there primarily due to having an easier schedule.

It's good but right now it's hard for the average fan to track how it's actually happening

Probably need to just bite the bullet and split out the P4 and let them pay the players directly and cap it

Yeah but fans need someone to root against. Im worried that cfb will turn into college basketball with a bunch of uninteresting teams that can beat anyone on a given day.

I dunno. The Bama dynasty sapped my enthusiasm for CFB.

My interest is back up now.

I liked it more when Bama was better than everyone else. But maybe that’s just me.

I think it is a good thing generally. However, the fans are going to take some time to adjust. The days of the 12-0 SEC game may be over, especially once we go to a 9 gameSEC +1 P4 requirement.

It’s most definitely a good thing. Having nationwide interest only adds to the intrigue and objectively makes it a better sport. We aren’t there yet, as the state of California doesn’t seem to give a shite except maybe Fresno and San Diego St.
