Not sure if you have ever attended a Cajun football game, or even a Tulane game...but we probably have the most cordial fans in person. You are correct in that you shouldn't worry about winning, because worrying won't help. Your team will lose and you will get to enjoy watching us celebrate in your city.

I know you're trolling, Hendo, but that was a 2-10 team with no QB. Tulane is a decent 6-3 team but not deep. If healthy, they give the Cajuns a very good game.

completely wrong.

i assure you, i did nothing to provoke anyone, was walking through the ULL tailgate area wearing blue and gold, and I got some pretty nasty insults thrown my way.

then all was good the McNeese students and ULL students were all on the hill sitting together, which was going great until mcneese started stretching out a lead and that turned pretty hostile, too.

For some reason i can't see the ULL fanbase being ultra classy. I don't think LSU's is at all ,which scares me about how bad ULL's could be

I was on a hill for that game and didn't see any shenanigans. Stop throwing shite at people man.

Apparently people get piss balloons and batteries thrown at them at LSU games, never seen it.

Tulane is not healthy at the moment. No depth. I didn't say who would win, but it will not be a blowout. Would more likely be a Cajuns romp if it were a regular season game vs. bowl.

No shot. Tulane has a terrible offense but their defense has shut down better teams than USL. I think Tulane would win because USL would think they are playing the same team they whipped last year and would not take it seriously until it was too late.

ULL is actually a good matchup for Tulane. ULL's defense is terrible and while they run well, we stop the run.

I do remember allegations of things being thrown, I forgot about that. I don't think anyone from our fanbase was doing. No reason to, we were way outnumbered.

UL would run for 220 on Tulane and our defensive line would dominate that game.

ULL has a good team and their administration is smart. They are striking when the iron is hot...trying to turn the stretch of winning into permanent gains in program infrastructure.
We utterly blew that in 1997-98, and we didn't even try when our basketball was so good in the 1990s.
But ULL is giving it their best. But eventually their rank and file game attendees are going to have to step up and open their wallets as well.

I'd say it would be pretty close , slight edge going to the Chili Peppers.....but who has ULL played that's even worth a damn this year? I mean they almost screwed the pooch last weekend against THE NM STATE & they got lucky against Troy.
