So a NBA team from 2054 would crush a team from today
I mean I would sure think so

It’s crazy where sports have come in just 10 years

30 years old used to be a washed up geriatric in tennis. Now look

Look at the amount of arms that can hit 100 in baseball

Etc etc. 2054 likely to have aliens playing with us

Wrong, just look at Wilts numbers after the lane was widened to today’s standards. His scoring was practically cut in half and he was nowhere near as dominant once he wasn’t allowed to just stand under the basket. Not saying he isn’t an alltimer but an argument can be made that outside of MJ, prime Shaq was the most unstoppable force to ever lace em up. I’d take Shaq over Wilt any day of the week.

You must acknowledge that Wilt concentrated on defense and passing in the latter part of his career . It's not like he was neutered.

The changes made were because of him and he deserves all the respect in the world for it but the fact remains he became less effective once it happened. These are two very similar players in style only one is a lot bigger and more skilled than the other.

If you're saying Shaq is bigger and more skilled than Wilt, I can't take you seriously.

Well it’s a fact so I might do some self reflection if I were you. Wilt was 275-285 at most, Shaq played between 320-380 so a lot bigger and if we’re talking skill all you have to do is fire up a couple highlights of both to show that Shaq’s skill level, footwork, post moves ect were far beyond Wilts.

And wind up injured and have less control and have less stamina but don’t let facts get in the way of your idiotic recency bias.

see this emotional nutsack of an OP changed it from 2024 to 1994. You aren’t slick.

He wants so bad to somehow justify this Olympic team as the best team ever. He’s started at least four threads on it trying to do so while attempting to disguise the threads as something else lol

1964 All-Stars

All-NBA first team:

Oscar Robertson (Cincinnati Royals)
Jerry West (Los Angeles Lakers)
Elgin Baylor (Los Angeles Lakers)
Jerry Lucas (Cincinnati Royals)
Bill Russell (Boston Celtics)

Coming off the bench:

Wilt Chamberlain
Bob Pettit
John Havlicek

Good luck

I said :

An nba team

So 1964 hawks vs 1994 pistons

And I think the 1994 team of

Mj
Shaq
Charles
Hakeem
Pippen

Bench:

Clyde
Reggie
Malone
Ewing
Kemp

Would be just fine

With all due respect to the recent greats, ain’t nobody today or in the 90s beating that lineup.

Guess you didn't see what Olajuwan or Duncan did to him.

He’s a quintessential Millennial. Like every negative stereotype about the generation is everything he is and the only thing he is. He’s a prisoner of the moment, thinks he knows far more than he really knows, thinks he’s more talented/gifted than he really is, likes to take a moral high ground when he has no real values of his own nor a sense of purpose, he refuses to admit when he is wrong, he believes his point of view is the superior/correct one even if you can use objective facts and data to prove it either naive or outright wrong in many cases, and he is chronically online believing that anything said or down on social media (yes this place is an example of social media) has any real tangible value when 99.9% of this is just idiots and assholes killing time and shooting the shite without having to leave the house or spend any real effort.
