Houston sports talk show host Lance Zierlein will return to the air Monday, working alongside longtime on-air partner John Granato on Gow Broadcasting’s sports talk stations at 97.5 FM and 94.1 FM.
Zierlein, who left iHeartMedia’s KBME (790 AM) in July, and Granato will be on the air from 7-9 a.m. weekdays on KFNC (97.5 FM). They will be joined by Raheel Ramzanali for a 9-10 a.m. simulcast on 97.5 FM and Gow’s recently launched second FM signal, KFNC HD-2 (97.5-2 FM and 94.1 FM).

John Granato

Sat next to him at the Rockets playoffs a few years ago. Really nice guy but weird AF.

FWIW, I always liked their show.

I like him. He sat next to me at 2 LSU games in the past. He was generous with his whiskey flask and good conversation.

790, I suspect that's why Lance left, bc he didn't want to deal with Josh's bullshite

1560 was freaking great when granato and Lance were on.

I never get to listen, but have met and spoke to him at Cotton Bowl game vs A&M. Actually mentioned TD to him and he was aware of it and that they had some following here, even back then.

His beautiful wife was one of our head cheerleaders in high school back in the day. She's aged like a fine wine.

That was a short-lived radio retirement for lance. Wonder how he explains that one away.

And Charlie Palilo is very smart but is the radio version of watching paint dry.
