Uconn is some kind of bad, they miss every open throw and cant stop UH for shite. This is gonna be like 60-0

ETA lol at anyone who bet on UCONN +28, they couldnt even play with syracuse last week, houston is about to hang another 30 on them in the 2H

That last pass was the best pass I've seen all season, including the NFL

Damn right.

And the vast majority of their schedule is against teams at that level of competition.

They won't make the playoff no matter what.

If they beat undefeated and subsequent ACC champ Ville, it's gonna happen.

This UConn game is the second game of a 7-game stretch they have, which consists of:

Texas State (3-9)
UConn (6-7)
Navy (11-2)
Tulsa (6-7)
SMU (2-10)
UCF (0-12)
Tulane (3-9)

Their records last season in parenthesis. That's a combined record of 31-56.

Sure, they can beat teams like Florida State and Oklahoma when they have a month plus to prepare, but how would they do against the current stretch Wisconsin is playing? Or Stanford's schedule? Or Alabama's schedule?

Could they navigate that schedule with 1 loss or less? We don't know, because they won't have to. And the committee won't give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they can.

A committee full of ADs, presidents, and former players from major schools/conferences won't exactly help them out, either.

They have no shot.

They would have to blow out Louisville and Louisville would have to be undefeated

You also said 2014 Ohio State wouldn't get in with that terrible VA Tech and underwhelming schedule. We all knew how that ended.

Houston will be in the final 4 if they win out, whether you want to admit it or not. Especially if Louisville ends up winning the ACC.

Just a ridiculous statement, but have fun with that.

You are mixing whether they deserve to get in and whether they will get in

Just like we know the 2015 records of Houston's 2016 schedule has nothing to do with this.

Not to mention that who knows how many, if any, undefeateds there'll be from power conferences at season's end.

Plus beating a potential top 5 team in mid-November would speak awfully well to Houston's ability to play with top notch competition.

You can't help but laugh when people speak with absolute certainty in September about how things will unfold at season's end despite numerous variables. Such is life in this hot take culture.

Hell, people were clamoring for a playoff through the years so a team like UH would be included.

No, both are the same.
