Hoopers: why do Baden basketballs deflate so fast?

In Texas high school sports Baden is the official ball so it’s what everyone uses essentially, the place I used to coach at was Wilson. I’ve got a Wilson evolution that sits in garage and I haven’t had to pump that thing up in 3 years.
These Badens deflate like every damn week, and it’s all of them not just the ones here, been that way for years.
What technology does Baden not use that makes their balls not hold air? Or do they just not care

I’ve been playing with the Evolution 2-3x weekly for several years and I always need to pump it up when the temps drop.

They fricking suck. Bball complex in Lafayette has them, Ragin Hoops. I keep a personal hand held electric pump (off amazon) to bring in when we go. It should be criminal because of how often they need to be inflated.
Now they have a new one Enso, they are pushing on social media. I inquired about the inflation issues, and they do NOT reply

Badens are made with sheep bladders so they’re a little more permeable than other brands. Wilson and Spaulding use high end coconut strands with some sort of polymer to bond the residual agents together so there’s a better seal than other brands
Another good brand is Nike believe it or not. They use repurposed bamboo stalks that have been finely shredded then they get stitched together

For softball coaches in Texas, I can testify that our softball coaches dislike the Baden branded balls. A vast majority use other brands, specifically the Dudley (Spaulding) Thunder Heat, for regular season and district game. Many won't use them in the playoffs and only buy them to use later if they make it to the State championships.
Baden is a sponsor of UIL and it's a good deal for them, so we go with it when required.

See now this I don’t really agree with. You have to play with Baden balls in the playoffs. Why would you play all year with a different ball?

Many times its costs. If they dont hold up, schools spend thousands on constantly replacing them, etc

This is true, and I guess in some sports where the ball isn’t as important it makes sense. Like you can take batting practice with any ball, but in a sport like basketball or I imagine for your pitchers in softball, the type of ball can impact performance so I’d want my athletes practicing with what they play with

I remember liking the Badens but they were cheap. Dad had an old Larry Bird, I think Wilson, could be wrong) that looked like hell but lasted forever.

Louisiana is also Baden and no matter the sport, their balls are generally crap.
They are cheap so I guess the poor schools like that.
