This. The VA talent isn’t anywhere near Blacksburg. Beamer did an amazing job because they don’t have a ton of natural advantages.

UVA is about two hours closer to Hampton Roads, NoVa and Richmond than VT is. Nevermind the bigger programs that recruit heavily in VA.

When Mississippi state was going through their coaching search 2 years ago people kept bringing up his name and mods said he would not be in contention due to personal reasons. It’s weird that people keep saying that but no one will say what it is. My guess is that it’s all just rumor and no one can confirm it

Today could have been the signature win that gets him an extra year

But this VT team is the worst 5 win team in a long time

Two of those vs FCS teams that were close in the 4th Qtr at home

His recruiting is utter dog shite. I just posted about this in another thread but they are ranked at the bottom of the ACC by almost every service with a class ranking average from the 80s or up.

That is inexcusable for the amount of in state talent at his disposal

The administration should probably ditch him before it gets worse

Looking at their schedule they maybe get one more win
