Did hill immediately roll his window down when the cops asked him three times to do so?
He wasn’t being EASY to deal with but he wasn’t being terrible either. I believe the window comes back down and stays down the rest of the time if the officer gives him a few more seconds before saying “nvm I’m gonna rip you out of the car even though I literally JUST said I’ll rip you out if you don’t fully lower it.”
Cop was emotional there and said ya know what, frick if you’re coming out. Which is fine I guess. Tyreek was getting out like a normal person when they started grabbing and ripping him.
That was dumb af of them. I don’t think a Tyreek did much wrong there.

Scottie Scheffler
Did I miss the ESPN trumpet call to March on Washington for him? He was actually arrested and charged with a felony and 3 misdemeanors trying to get into the PGA Championship in his car. Instead it was chalked up as "a big misunderstanding" and people moved on.

Tyreek’s decisions, words and actions drove every bit of what happened to him.
The cop might have been an a-hole, fine. I can tell you that I’ve dealt with at least 3 cops during stops that were bigger assholes than this guy and I’ve never been wrestled out of a car and cuffed. Not once. In all of those situations, like Tyreek, I had committed a moving violation of some kind, so I shut the hell up and followed instructions and drove away unharmed with a ticket shortly after.
Tyreek didn’t do that and ended up getting literally dragged. He’s no victim.

Lol. Watch the first minute of it and it’s clear hill was being a douche and instigating things just to push it, as typical of these types of morons. Let’s see just how much I can do that skates the line of being legal just to be an a-hole.
Play stupid games…..

What’s your point? I’m saying his actions didn’t warrant what happened to him.

I genuinely can’t believe y’all don’t want better out of our police. Idgaf about Tyreek. Idc if he’s a victim. Or not a victim.
I want better from our police. They were putrid in this situation and I’m not willing to cheer it on just bc I don’t like the arrestee.

So you want trash humans that love to push the envelope just because they can, to be able to continue to do so?

Also yes. I want police officers to be more diligent before acting the way they did here.

I am saying that basically everything he did was wrong if his objective is to leave as soon as possible. It’s baffling that you can’t see how much of a dick he was being and even more baffling that you can’t see that if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t have ended up in cuffs.
BTW, my disdain for Tyreek has no bearing on that opinion. If my best friend was in this situation and did exactly what Tyreek did, I’d call him an asshat too.

Disobeying and order to roll your window back down
Telling a cop, “don’t touch my window bro” multiple times
That’s not pushing the envelope? What is it then? Two friends joking around?

I am far from a “back the blue” guy, but I can’t fathom speeding in a construction zone, getting pulled over for it, flagrantly disrespecting cops just doing their job, and then expecting any better treatment than what Hill got here. In fact I think he got treated better than a normal person would have.
I’m also not really sure what the expectation is here for the cops

How would they see if he had his seatbelt on with those tinted windows?
I believe the body cam video showed him without his seatbelt on when he gave the cop his license. The cop noted that during the initial interaction.

Everyone is at fault there. Cops were obnoxious and way over the line and barely speak English. Hill is over the line, not complying and actively resisting

If that’s the case, the police are morons for not releasing that publicly. Would change the optics of this situation immediately
I read somewhere that the motorcycle officer visually estimated his speed at 60 mph

I posted earlier in the thread but I'll say again.
There is no situation in the world where getting pissy with the cops is a good idea. It will make your situation worse 100% of the time.
It doesn't matter how right you are and how wrong they are. People say "but the cops were being jerks!" but it flat out doesn't matter. The power imbalance is astronomical. They can flat out shoot you and probably get away with it.
Theres a concept known as picking your battles and getting sassy with a bunch of cops on the side of the road is about the dumbest battle you can pick.

Doesn't matter. You are a cop. You stopped someone for a simple traffic infraction.
Take.their I'd, run the plate, and write the ticket.
No one needs a sermon or 100 questions from a cop. We ALL know what they're doing, trying to gather some sort of incriminating evidence for other stuff.
Give proper ID etc, and never say another word.
But cops can't stand when they lose their power. And they take it further and we end up here.
And yes, unfortunately for all, it's perfectly legal to be in your own vehicle and to be a dick..
If cop ever feels unsafe, he should return to his vehicle and proceed writing ticket.

Which statutes does this fall under as a crime? If it's a crime, and you think it's OK to pin him down and cuff him, take him in! If you do it just to show power, YOU as an officer are the one breaking the law.
They let him go, proving they did it for their own power trip, but didn't want to try to explain it by arresting him.
