Did you go to Marshall?

They didn't even play Marshall in the state championship game. They played Andrew Lewis High School.

Though they did play Marshall in the middle of the regular season in a game that proved to be the toughest. They won 21-16, however, and not 9-7 as the film portrays it.

That Titans team of '71 was pretty bombing. Just look at their results:

vs. Herndon (W) 19-0
vs. Yorktown (W) 25-0
vs. Hayfield (W) 26-7
vs. Jefferson (W) 25-0
vs. Marshall (W) 21-16
vs. Groveton (W) 29-0
vs. Madison (W) 34-0
vs. W&L (W) 34-0
vs. Wakefield (W) 26-0
vs. Bishop Ireton (W) 26-8

Playoffs
vs. Annandale (W) 28-0
vs. Woodrow Wilson (W) 36-14
vs. Andrew Lewis (W) 27-0

I’ve always HATED how hollywood picks actors for sports movies that look like they’ve never touched a football or baseball their entire lives

Keanu Reeves in Hardball was very cringeworthy, despite the fact that it was a good movie. Thats the first one I can think of off the top of my head

That's why I really liked the film Major League. Just about all of the actors looked like they could play baseball in real life.

The reality of that team was that it was a damn good mutha fukkin team that you could not score on. That is a lot of zeroes.

I gave your momma a piggy back ride and she weighs twice as much as I do.

I love this movie. Watch it every time it comes on.
