I mean the Rays had a large win streak against bottom dwellers and were crowing themselves champs. We knew time would expose them.

Whoever is running orioles draft recently is nailing it
Look at all the young players in that lineup that were drafted by orioles

Same guy that ran the Astros scouting department from 2012-2018. Mike Elias is one of the best execs in pro baseball

The Rays have lost 7 in a row to the Orioles 6 of their last 11. They play a series a week after the break and we’ll see where they stand then.

As long as the Yankees miss the playoffs, I’m good with whatever

I hope you’re right, but I don’t know if the O’s have the starting pitching to pull it off.

They've lost 4 or 5 starters to injury. All of them are above average pitchers. No team can withstand that shite. McClanahan, Rasmussen, Springs, Baz, and Glasnow have all been on the IL. Rasmussen, Baz and Springs are done for the season.

He also brought sig mejdal with him.

Sig has a great line in his wiki

He attended the Winter Meetings in search for a job in baseball,[8] but ended up working for NASA as a biomathematician in the Fatigue Countermeasures Group.

The guy couldn’t get a job in baseball so he went to his fall back job at nasa lol

With that front office you know the orioles are for real and will have staying power. They aren’t going anywhere for a while.

IF the O’s make the playoffs I will spend the money and go to at least one playoff game. They are and always have been my favorite professional team.
Understand I was born in 1960 in Baltimore. By the late 60’s they were really good

I don’t think the Rays were crowning themselves champions as much as the media was sucking them off. The media has loved the Rays for a long time, The Athletic in particular.
