Besides being an incredibly lucky play? Was a phenomenal play.

He didn't intend for it to go through TT's legs.

Reminds me of a story my dad had watching The Pistol play

He said Pete did a bounce pass behind his back, but somehow when the ball hit he floor, it changed direction and shot the other way to a wide open man who made a layup. He said the place went nuts and thought Pete had come up with a miracle spin to make the ball do that

Truth was Pete accidentally bounced it off his foot

Kobe would have made a three pointer from where Lebron started.

Kobe +1

Pretty much. He could try that another 9 times and probably not get it to happen again. Doesn't matter though, it happened that once.

He pushed off.

If you notice when he goes up for a shot, his body touches the defenders body and he goes backwards and space is created.

Therefore it's not impressive.

For the McDonald's HS Basketball All American shite in 2003, held in Cleveland at CSU...Lebron shouldn't have won the dunk contest.

Von Wafer was legit threw one down from the free throw line. It was unreal.

I was there.

Can't see his feet when he releases the shot. Looks like he might've traveled

Looks like he took a small hop before putting the ball on the floor (travelling) and then may have traveled again (can't see his feet in gif) by landing before he let go of the ball.

*Just trying to be a hater as requested. I think people whine too much about travelling so not really being that serious about it.

Truth. Wafer was much more impressive. Lebron's dunks were just okay, he just jumped really high.
