Bron didn’t even make the playoffs this year with no AD.
Last year, Bron lost in rd 1 with no AD.

Harden never had a losing season. And has won at least one playoff series for damn near a decade.

Bron been outta round one only once in the last 4 seasons.

There is levels

I like all of em. One on its own doesn’t mean a whole lot but when you got 4-5 of them that all agree that’s when you have your answer.

But hear me out, Lebron has been playing amazing basketball.

I’m worried about Harden.

Is he not capable of taking over anymore?

he has dominated several playoff games this season. When you are without embiid and only have 3 good players on the team, a coach like Spo is gonna build a wall and double team. Make the other guys beat them. that is the respect that he has earned.

No one is arguing that Harden is a bad player. Everyone knows he is a very good player

Some of the dribble you have said in this thread is hilarious, saying that a Game 1 is the same importance as a game 7. You can say they all matter the same because they do, but no one is as nervous before Game 1 as they are befor Game 7. If you win the first 4 you don't have to ever play a game 7, but that's not realistic

Harden in games where his "legacy" is on the line has not been good. you don't need to keep deflecting and saying "but he's better than Chris Paul and outplayed these 5 HOFers in other series who btw have all won championship rings".

You can just admit Harden has had some really bad games in really big positions. He can still have all time good numbers and not be the guy you want to take over in the 4th. You can point to BPM or PER all you want. No one is taking James Harden over Dwyane Wade or Kobe Bryant (the next 2 guys on Playoff PER behind Harden).

Tracy McGrady, as pointed out earlier has better PER and BPM than a dozen players people would take over him in a big game in the playoffs. It doesn't make McGrady a bad player, but it also doesnt make him one of the best ever

wade and Kobe played with prime lebron and prime Shaq.

Harden never had a teammate like that. If he did, multiple rings

Player for player he outplayed both of them across the board. Playoffs or regular season.

Can you dig a little deeper?

Harden played 3x the playoff games McGrady did. McGrady never played outside of the first round.

You can’t compare a player who is up only against rd 1 caliber opponents to one who is always advancing and playing legitimate contenders.

It is a “strength of schedule” issue. There is many players who if you only took their round 1 stats would be better than Tracy.

Only if you cherry pick legacy games as the ones he lost. Has had many monster games in important games and won.

Last week he closed out the raptors with a huge game. That of course won’t be included as a legacy game, because he won. That’s how these narratives work.

Huge closing game with 22 points while the better player on the team is dropping huge game closing 3’s and watching Harden drop 14, 15, and 19 points during the series

That series is doing for Harden’s legacy exactly what this series is doing

And it ain’t good

He literally had KD going bonkers last year but he didn't hold up his end of the bargain and got hurt.

He had 15 assists and was a +38. Every time he had the ball he generated a wide open look for his teammates or scored himself. Masterful performance.

Not a “legacy game”. But if he had a bad game and they blew a 3-0 lead it would have been a “legacy game”.

That is the intellectual dishonesty that exists here.

Hey guys, the most you can expect out of the best offensive player of all time is 18 points per game.

You simply can't ask him for more.

Not his peak self This year. Finally had an injury after being the most durable player for over a decade. Still clear all star level. Top 3 playmaker and winner.

“Top 3 playmaker and winner.”

This is just laughably false

“he has dominated several playoff games this season.“

Lmfao, dude if you cared about your arguments you wouldn’t purposely destroy your credibility with post like these.

he has won more games than any other player the last decade and has made a deep playoff run for 6 straight years. No other star is even at 4 iirc.

0 career losing seasons
0 career seasons missing playoffs

2nd round isn’t a deep playoff run.
