I can see how people are rubbed the wrong way by him but you gotta give credit where credit is due. He believed turning himself into a meathead would help his golf game and well...he was right

I once sat beside Angel Cabrera at a pool bar in Playa del Carmen. He blew smoke in my face for 30 minutes. That was annoying.

I don't like his personality.
I do appreciate his drive and belief in his process. Nobody likes a perfection artist, but it's what makes a good golfer become a great golfer.
It will be interesting to see where he goes from here.

As a warm blooded American female who doesn’t pay attention to golf very much—- I casually flipped by the channel yesterday as it was ending and I wasn’t annoyed in the slightest by seeing him on my screen. Not one iota, he could have ripped off his shirt and it been better of course but my eyes were pleased nonetheless.

Is Bryson a goofy bastard? Yes indeed. But hats off to him for maximizing his game to the fullest extent and utilizing sports science to his full advantage.
